In the heart of Kars, amidst the chilling cold of up to -25 degrees Celsius, I produced and directed the cinematography for the documentary film "Evlat." This project delves into one of Turkey's significant historical events, the Battle of Sarıkamış. With a cast of approximately 30 actors braving the severe weather conditions, the film aims to bring to life the harrowing experiences of those involved in this pivotal moment in history. "Evlat" seeks to honor the memory of those who faced unimaginable hardships during the battle, providing a poignant look into the past with a blend of historical accuracy and emotional depth.
